Evangel Christian Academy (ECA) is a multicultural private institution serving children from preschool through 12th grade. Many of our graduates go on to four-year colleges and have received numerous scholarships, including appointments to service academies. The school has been operating since 1976 and is accredited with the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools, North Central, and the State of New Mexico.
ECA’s mission is to educate students spiritually, academically, and physically. Our philosophy is to prepare students for the work God has for them!
Great Preschool in Albuquerque
ECA Preschool for ages 6 weeks to 4 years old is committed to the total development of our students spiritually, academically and physically. Our instructional program includes not only basic development skills, but also subjects necessary for kindergarten and spiritual, social and physical training.
Excellent Elementary Education
We believe that the elementary curriculum should place an emphasis on reading and writing, arithmetic skills, and basic social studies and science, as well as a solid Biblical foundation. This is key to giving our students a head start in life and setting them up for success.
ECA's Middle School
We believe that middle school should be approached in such a way that sets up the young learner for success in social and educational aspects. Our middle school programs, such as Bible and robotics, launch your adolescent student into a position of relevant educational competence.
A High School That Prepares Young Minds
The demands of high school can be very challenging. ECA encourages each student to have the right priorities: to put Christ first, academics second, and then develop their talents. Students at ECA are encouraged to excel in academics whether it be math, science, language arts, or social studies.

Soar to Success
Students at ECA are encouraged to excel in academics, whether it be math, science, language arts, or social studies. ECA also offers a fine arts program and a sports program to develop their talents. ECA is the home of the Eagles; let us “Soar to Success!”
Eagle Athletics
Evangel Christian Academy high school is independent for the 2026-2027 school year. Our middle school plays with the APIAL. ECA involves its student-athletes in interscholastic sports in order to, first and foremost, glorify and honor God with the talents and abilities that He has given. Student-athletes are to display good sportsmanship and honor the Lord through their participation.
